Good Morning Everyone, looks like winter is on the way with an icy blast this morning.
We were very excited to host the first of the Family, Food & Fun Dinner night initiated by The Salvation Army last Wednesday night.
Steve Miller, Kingston Neighbourhood House Volunteers and those in attendance had a great evening and we are enthusiastic about the opportunity to invite families for a traditional evening meal.
Thank you Drew for stepping up and preparing the meals for families, very much appreciated.
Volunteer Celebration for National Volunteer Week – Salty Dog, Kingston Beach – Thursday 30th May, 5pm – 7.30pm
We are excited to host our Volunteer Celebration at Salty Dog this coming Thursday.
There have been a couple of people saying they received an Event Cancellation, we apologise, however it is going ahead – please come along.
Garden Beds
Karen has planted seedlings and mulched the garden beds ready for our winter crops. Great work Karen.
Maranoa Reserve Clean Up Day
On Friday 14th June, Kingston Neighbourhood House will be assisting clean up the reserve next door. We will start at approximately 2pm and finish at 3.00pm with a BBQ.
Please let us know if you are interested in assisting – all protective gear will be provided.
Earn & Learn
Please keep your unloved Earn & Learn stickers coming into Kingston Neighbourhood House and remember we also have a donation box at Woolworths Kingston Town.
