Youth Activities program

Weekly Update W/E 20/9/2019

Good Morning Everyone,

Wow…the Mountain looks stunning covered in snow this morning. Welcome to our AGM Week.

The AGM is an important event in the life of Kingston Neighbourhood House as we present our annual reports, audited accounts and welcome a new board to the House.

We are immensely proud of the work our Management Committee, volunteers, staff and community members have achieved throughout the year and we are pleased to share our progress.

We have received 11 nominations for 11 positions meaning all nominees will be elected to the Board. We have two nominees for KNH Board Vice President whom will be voted for on the night.

If you have any questions or require further information please feel free to contact us.

ySPACE Youth Activities Program – Tuesday at 3.00pm

ySPACE Youth Activities program returns to Kingston Neighbourhood House this week, hosted by Sarah Johns from Kingborough Council and Karen and Mel (Kingston Neighbourhood House Volunteers).

Tuesday’s activities are cooking, making a delicious meal to take home. The program welcomes children aged 10-17 so please tell anyone who may be interested.

Peace Education Program

Reminder – The world renowned Peace Education program continues at Kingston Neighbourhood House on Tuesday facilitated by Helen Hussey.

The program has received very positive responses wherever it is screened and we encourage you to take some time out of your busy day to discover some empowering approaches to personal peace.

Thought for the week
