Naidoc Week

Weekly Update W/E 12/7/2019

Good Morning Everyone,

Welcome to the first week of school holidays and the promise of a bit of wet weather.

Naidoc Week – 7th to 14th July 2019

NAIDOC Week is a chance to bring greater awareness of our First Peoples and our connections to indigenous peoples in our community.

If you, your family or friends are interested there will be a NAIDOC Week held at the Stanley Burbury Theatre tomorrow night from 5.30-7.30pm.  Please click here if you are interested in attending.

Maranoa Reserve Clean Up Day – Friday 12 July 2pm

Please let us know if you are attending by calling 6229 4066.

Thought for the Week

Happiness is an inside job. Don’t assign anyone else that much power over your life.

Reminder – School Holiday Excursion

Places are filling fast for Woody’s Skate & Play – we have our pizza oven and hope to use it for the first time after we return (or even at the Clean Up Day on Friday).

Events

Visit the event calendar for a full list of this week’s events.

As always, please feel free to contact us to suggest ideas, raise any issues or discuss concerns – our community values your feedback.
