Planning Day

Weekly Updates W/E 5/4/2019

Welcome to April, hard to believe three months have gone already. We have had a very busy few months and this doesn’t look like slowing down anytime soon. We will keep you up to date about a Kingston Neighbourhood House Planning Day in July which we will invite our community to contribute to our directions for the next three years.

Daylight Savings

Remember Daylight Savings finishes this weekend at 2:00 am on Sunday 7 April 2019. (Put your clocks back one hour and check fire alarm batteries)

Reminder: Change to Loaves & Fishes collection – Mondays Only – Commences today

As at Monday April 1st, Loaves and Fishes bags will only be available for collection on the Monday, not the Tuesday.

We have made these changes due to concerns regarding the freshness of the food products as we are unable to refrigerate bags. As local community members of all ages collect the bags we need to ensure we cater for the most vulnerable in providing food options. We are also very challenged for storage space at present.

Singer Cecile

We have been privileged to have Cecile offer her lovely vocal skills to sing to our ladies who come in for Coffee, Craft and Chat. It is a pleasure to hear people singing at KNH and brings joy to everyone.
